SBX makes use of standard digital telephones, and also allowing the use of Voice over IP technology for SIP endpoints, soft phones and SIP trunking. The base cabinet is equipped to handle 3 copper lines lines and up to 8 analog or digital ports, but capable of accepting another 3 x 8 expansion board, or T1/PRI board with 8 station ports. At the same time, each cabinet can be equipped to handle up to 8 voice over IP calls between SIP trunking, network (site-to-site) calls, and remote IP phones/softphones.Ease of DeploymentThe SBX is an affordably priced, long-term investment for a phone system with a pay-as-you-grow architecture.
